Haxus is Sendak's Second in Command, and has been for over 250 years. It was the aftermath of the early mission that killed his brother Nerok that ended with him promoted to the position against his will. Though he was only compliant out of necessity at first, as time passed, Haxus's loyalty came to lie with Sendak rather than the Empire itself.
